Dr Nikolaos Maragkos, MD, PhD
Professor of Otorhinolaryngology of University of Mainz, Germany
Associate Professor of University of Thessaly
Professor Maragkos graduated from the medical school of the University of Athens in 1986 and moved to Germany to undertake clinical and academic training in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT). He has trained in various big European ENT centers for almost 20 years participating in or leading teams which performed pioneering procedures and changing the current ENT practice.
His impressive academic and clinical achievements earned him the title of Professor of Otorhinolaryngology of the University of Mainz, Germany. In 2002 he returned to Athens where he worked as the ENT consultant of Metropolitan Hospital before accepting an offer to become the Associate Professor of University of Thessaly. In 2005, he returned to Athens where he is the director of the Center of ENT, Head & Neck and Cranial Base surgery in Marousi (http://www.orlcenter.gr/en/index.php). Professor Maragkos also sees patients in Cyprus in his office in Egkomi and operates in Nicosia Polyclinic where state-of-the-art facilities are available to him.
Professor has contributed and participated in hundreds of scientific articles, lectures, congresses and books. He has huge experience in all aspects of Otorhinolaryngology. He is internationally known in various procedures, some of which he has contributed to their development. These include:

Dr Kitsios qualified from the University of Athens. He then pursued postgraduate training in otorhinolaryngology in various teaching hospitals in Greece where he gained huge experience in the management of general otorhinolaryngology conditions. Working in big European medical centers under distinguished ENT surgeons, Dr Kitsios managed to get huge exposure to various rare conditions of his specialty.

Dr Louka qualified from the University of Athens Medical School. In addition, he pursued further clinical training in otorhinolaryngology in various big ENT centers of Johannesburg, South Africa where he was able to get huge exposure to various challenging cases of his specialty.
